After debuting on the new Nexus 6 and 9, the latest update to Android is now also available on the Nexus 4, 5, 7 and 10. The delayed arrival of Android Lollipop on these devices was due to a bug that drained the battery when WiFi was in use. The issue has been corrected, according to Google, and the new version of Android is due to arrive on other terminals from Samsung, LG and Motorola by the end of the year.

Presented in October, Android 5.0 -- nicknamed Lollipop -- is the most ambitious version of the mobile OS yet. Google's goal is to allow users to switch seamlessly between devices, picking up tasks where they left off and accessing all of their content from anywhere (music, photos, apps and search history).

The update also includes a facelift to the Android interface. Dubbed 'Material Design,' the new style aims to offer more intuitive and fluid transitions between apps.
