The latest update that has come to the Apple Music app for Android confirms the existence of a unified subscription bundle for Apple services called Apple One. This new subscription bundle will be rolled out soon and possibly be announced at the September 15 event.

This is not the first time this subscription plan has been spotted. Back in June, 9to5Mac reported that Apple was planning to bundle all its services into a single subscription as spotted on iOS 13.5 beta. 9to5Google has been able to confirm this now by decompiling the latest version of Apple Music uploaded on the Google Play Store.

Decompiling an app reveals code that hints at potential features of the future that may or may not roll out. However, in this case, you can well expect to see it being announced soon.

Bloomberg had reported about new subscription bundles last month and mentioned that there may be a base bundle that has Apple TV+ and Apple Music and more premium bundles that will include Apple News+, Apple Arcade and more iCloud storage. At that point in time, Apple One was merely a working name.

9to5Google reports that as spotted in the latest version of Apple Music (3.4.0 beta), Apple may have settled on the Apple One name alongside an internal codename “aristotle”. These bits of information in the app also confirm that Apple Music will be a part of Apple One when it launches.

Importantly, Apple has clear messaging in place in-app that mentions that your Apple One and your existing Apple Music subscription will not overlap, so you will not be paying double.

Also, code on the Apple Music for Android app indicates that users will not be able to renew or manage their Apple One subscription from the Android version of the Apple Music app. You will need to use an iOS, iPadOS, macOS or tvOS device to do so.

There were no more details that could be unearthed from the app like price or launch date but assuming that the next Apple event is about four days away, we should hear something about it soon.
