Broadband Internet connectivity on trains from Oct

RailTel Corporation will take up the job of furnishing connectivity and has conducted technical trials successfully.

The Railways will start broadband Internet connectivity on running trains from October this year.

Railways subsidiary RailTel Corporation will take up the job of furnishing connectivity and has conducted technical trials successfully on running train between Tughlakabad and Faridabad stations in April.

The first commercial trial will be introduced on New Delhi-Bhopal-New Delhi Shatabadi Express on Delhi-Mathura section, an official statement said.
