Bumble now has interest badges so it's easier to tell daters your likes
Bumble lets users add up to five interest badges from over 150 interests.
Bumble has launched new interest badges for users to help share more details about their personalities on the dating app. Bumble users can add up to five badges, and choose among over 150 interests.
Bumble's interest badges range from different categories including sports, creative hobbies, preferred choice of activities while choosing to stay in or going out. Users can also choose their favourite movies, television shows, music, and books. These interest badges will appear on the Bumble user's profile under "My Interests". Related emojis are also displayed next to the text in each interest badge.
On the launch of interest badges, Priti Joshi, VP of Global Strategy & Operations, Bumble, said “As a platform that's rooted in kindness, equality, and inclusivity, we encourage our community to be their most authentic self when making connections on Bumble. People can now add new Badges to their profiles that show off their personality and allow potential matches to get to know them better. From Sufi music, Bollywood to Biryani– the Bumble community in India can also choose localised Interest Badges. As single Indians navigate this new world of dating, we hope that the expanded selection of Badges helps people start more meaningful conversations and forge deeper connections”.
Bumble users can add interest badges to their profiles by following these steps:
Open your Bumble Date profile.
Go to ‘Edit profile', and click on ‘Tap to edit profile'.
Here, you'll see the ‘My interests' section.
Select this and choose five badges among more than 150 interests for your profile.
