Chrome OS is essentially a Chrome browser with added features and thus boots pretty fast and operates even on systems such as the Chromebit which have 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and runs on a 1.8 GHz processor.

The system always stays updated when connected to the Wi-Fi and sports a USB port for expanding storage or connecting wireless devices. The Chromebit also supports Bluetooth for wireless audio playback and file transfers. When paired with a decent TV, the Chromebit could be a great alternative to the smart TV and Apple TV if you want to consume content predominantly over the web.

The only issue with the Chromebook is its dependence on internet connectivity. While it does function offline as well, being connected to the internet turns the Chrombit into a lightning fast portal for gaming, entertainment and productivity.
