Delhi Police launches website to create awareness on economic crimes

Apart from education citizens, Delhi Police's EOW website enables to search FIRs, access e-court services, file RTIs, check press releases and access Covid-19 related information.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police on Wednesday launched its official website in a bid to create awareness among citizens about various economic crimes and offences. The website was launched by the Commissioner of Delhi Police SN Shrivastava

“@CPDelhi launched the official website of the EOW, @DelhiPolice today, as part of its initiative to create awareness among the public. The website contains useful tips for the public who normally become victims of various kinds of economic offences,” the EOW of the Delhi Police wrote in a post on Twitter.

The EOW website not only educates people about various major categories of offences investigated by the department but it also gives citizens safety tips pertaining to property buyers, investments, and internet and mobile banking users.

Apart from education citizens, the newly launched EOW website enables to search FIRs, access e-court services, file RTIs, check press releases and access Covid-19 related information. Additionally, the site also gives citizens the access to various departments of the Delhi Police such as the Cyber Crime Cell, Delhi Traffic Police and Special Police Unit for Women and Children among others.
