Did we just get our first glimpse of the Xiaomi Mi 5?
Gizmochina noticed a teaser of what appears to be Xiaomi’s Mi 5 that is supposed to be their flagship offering for 2016.
Technology website Gizmochina has posted a teaser of what appears to be Xiaomi's next flaghip, the Mi 5. The phone, which was supposed to be released in November, will almost certainly be released in 2016 -- Xiaomi hasn't had a high-end flagship since 2014.
The image, which Gizmochina writes "comes directly from Xiaomi's official account", shows a phone that looks like a Mi Note with thinner bezels.
Gizmochina also said that the phone is expected to come with Synaptics' ClearForce Touch technology, a technology that can detect the amount of pressure you put on the screen, which the iPhone 6S currently uses. The screen on the Mi 5 The screen is expected to be 2K resolution and 5.2 inches big,. which means that the phone's footprint might remain the same because the of thinner borders. The phone is also expected to pack 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, a 21 megapixel rear camera, and an 8 megapixel front camera.
