We have entered the final week of July and while last Friday brought us some exciting releases like F3: Fun & Frustration and Indian Predator: The Butcher Of Delhi, the upcoming week is set for some of the biggest movie releases of this entire month. The highly anticipated Janhvi Kapoor starrer Good Luck Jerry will be available to watch this weekend on Disney+ Hotstar. Alongside, the Kannada-language highly acclaimed and box office hit 777 Charlie will also stream on Voot this weekend. Tamil-language movie Rocketry and Malayalam-language film 19 (1) (a) will also be available to watch. Let us take a closer look at the OTT movie releases this week.

Good Luck Jerry on Disney+ Hostar

The Hindi language black comedy crime movie is directed by Sidharth Sengupta, who will be making his movie direction debut with the film. Sengupta is known for directing TV shows such as Balika Vadhu and web series like Apharan. The story of the Tamil remake revolves around a woman who tries to find a job to take care of her parents and sister. Things take an interesting turn when she stumbles upon a cocaine smuggling business and decides to enter it to earn money. But now she must maintain a double life in front of her family while evading the police. The movie casts Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role along with Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, Sushant Singh and others. It will be streaming starting July 29.

777 Charlie

The Kannada-language adventure comedy-drama features one of the biggest stars of Kannada movies in Rakshit Shetty. The film follows the journey and bonding between a lonely factory worker and a stray labrador dog, Charlie. Alongside Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B. Shetty, Danish Sait, Bobby Simha and others play lead roles. The movie hits the OTT platform on July 29.

Rocketry on Amazon Prime Video

This is a Tamil-language biographical drama based on S. Nambi Narayanan, the aerospace engineer who worked for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and contributed significantly to the Indian space program by developing the Vikas rocket engine. The film is written, produced and directed by R. Madhavan, who also plays the lead role. Simran, Rajit Kapoor, Ravi Raghavendra and Muralidaran play supporting roles. The movie begins streaming from July 26.

19(1)(a) on Disney+ Hotstar

This Malayalam-language film is written and directed by debutant Indhu V.S. The movie is an investigative thriller featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Nithya Menen, Indrajith Sukumaran, Indrans and others. The movie picks up on important issues of freedom of speech and expression.
