Elon Musk just cracked a dad joke on OnlyFans porn ban fiasco, and broke the Internet

Elon Musk is no stranger to memes, he shares quite a few on them on Twitter often. Sometimes even three in a row. And pretty much like all of the Tesla CEO's tweets, these too blow up people's timelines for a while at least. Musk kicked off a meme fest with caption and photograph - “No worries, situation is under control”. The post, just by itself might make you feel that Musk's managed to solve some problem, but the picture adds a funny twist to it.

The photo accompanying the post is one of a small piece of paper with the word “Situation” written on it, placed under the ‘Control' key on a keyboard - thus, the “situation is under control”, quite literally. While we'd roll our eyes at this pretty perfect dad joke, the internet seemed to love it. The post managed to rake up over 2 lakh likes in just a few hours.

Musk followed this up with another meme - a photo of a fan and a projector hanging off the ceiling in very close proximity making it impossible to turn on the fan. The caption accompanying this photo read - “Time to stop projecting and cool off”.

And then there was one more, and this one was based on a topic that's created quite a lot of buzz lately - OnlyFans. In case you did not know, OnlyFans is an online subscription platform known for its adult content. The platform recently announced that it was going to ban all sexually explicit content and then withdrew its decision after a huge outcry from the public.

Musk's post was about “the dark side of OnlyFans”. Now, it's no conspiracy theory, or a feature about sexual exploitation and porn. No sir. It was another dad joke - a photo of a whole lot of fans crammed into a room. This meme has gotten more than 2.8 lakh likes in just six hours of being posted and Twitterverse is amused.

So, whether you love them or hate them, there's clearly no getting away from Musk's terrible jokes and memes. Might as well embrace them then, right?
