Facebook is now allowing webmasters to bring public posts from the social network directly to any third-party website or blog. Anyone with a website will be able to copy and paste code in order to embed the post on their page, in the same way that they have grown accustomed to embedding videos and tweets.

To embed any public post on an external website, simply click on the arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the item, then select 'Embed Post.' A text box appears with code to copy and paste, just as is the case when embedding YouTube videos, tweets or Instagram photos, to name just a few.

The copied code allows users to embed the publication directly on any website or blog, including a button that will allow viewers of the post to subscribe to the page or person who originally posted it on Facebook. If the post includes multimedia, such as a photo or video, this content will also be embedded.
