Facebook brings Official Music Videos in India: Here’s what it means
You can watch the official music videos on both Android and iOS apps. The firm says that this will be coming to desktops soon.
Facebook has expanded its official music video feature to more countries now and India is one of them. This was introduced in the US recently and can now be seen under the ‘Watch' segment in India as well.
Manish Chopra, Director, and Head of Partnerships, Facebook India, said, “Over the past year, we have been working with partners in the Indian music industry to build the foundation of a music video experience for our consumers, and are thrilled to launch official music videos on the platform. We will continue to find opportunities to add more unique social sharing experiences and bring music into the ways people share and connect on Facebook".

You can watch the official music videos on both Android and iOS apps. The firm says that this will be coming to desktops soon. For several users, it is already showing up under the ‘Watch' section. Distributors like T-Series and more can be seen in the feed with licenced music videos. It will also be possible to search for ‘Top Bollywood', ‘Top Artist' and more.
One can access and discover music videos directly in the News Feed letting friends and family to share their favorite music, or through Search. Some of the partners in the list are T-Series, Zee Music Company and Yash Raj Films.
According to Facebook, official music videos will create new social experiences that will let you do more than just watching the video. You will be able to discover new artists and tracks through social sharing, clicking through to a song [from a Music Sticker / Music Video] shared to a friend's story or a post in News Feed.
