In a bid to push more users to share videos, the social networking site has launched a personalised video creation tool.

Prepare for a video overload in your Facebook newsfeed this holiday season.

That's because the world's most popular social network has just launched a new video creation tool that it hopes you'll use to celebrate your friends.

Say Thanks helps you create a personalized video card using timeline posts and photos. Just choose a friend, select a theme and Facebook will do the rest. Once the video is created you can edit and change it and when you're happy, click 'share'. The Say Thanks video will then show up in your and your intended recipient's timelines.

There is no limit to the amount of videos you can create and Facebook hopes you'll use Say Thanks to celebrate more than just your closest friends and suggests sending them to significant others, co-workers and relatives too.

The feature is currently rolling out to the desktop and mobile versions of Facebook and will support English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish.
