Facebook Live feature now available in India

If you have been waiting to broadcast yourself via Facebook, then the wait is nearly over. The Mark Zuckerberg-founded company has started rolling out its "Go Live" feature for both Android and iOS users in India.
Earlier, the feature was rolled out on beta and was only available on Facebook pages and select individuals. You could go to the option of posting a new status and get to the Live feature. Other friends can see the Live when you start broadcasting but mind you it needs a stable data connection.
The social network has been betting on videos for some time now and has even brought in the feature to save them offline so that users can view them later at their convenience.
The Live videos feature was launched last year, and the social media giant has added a host of new features since then to attract more users. Facebook users can now go live via face-swapping MSQRD app, which allows them to use different Snapchat-like filters during live video.
Another addition to Live videos feature is the increase in time limit from two to four hours. The update gives users an option to broadcast videos in both fullscreen and video-only mode. This means that if users go Live from an iOS device, they will can go full screen in portrait as well as landscape mode.
Recently Twitter also increased its 30-second limit for videos to 140-seconds.
