Facebook Messenger gets a new Home section and birthday reminders

Facebook Messenger has 900 million monthly users and they're going to find more reasons to use it after getting the latest update. The Messenger with bots, has made it easier to chat with businesses, getting daily news or even making a video call.

"Now, you'll see your conversations and ways to connect right where you need them most. You'll still see the first few most recent messages at the top of your screen, followed by a new Favorites section, which highlights people you message most frequently, so you can quickly pick up your last conversation," wrote Facebook in a blog post.

With the Active Now section, you'll be able to tell whose online to chat with just like the green dots in the browser did.

Facebook is also adding helpful reminders to events like friends' birthdays, so you don't get angry messsages because of missing them.
