Infinix on Friday announced its foray into truly wireless earbuds segment in India. The company has introduced a new sub-brand called “Snokor”. The first product under the new lineup is iRocker. Priced at 1,499, the TWS earbuds will be available online exclusively via Flipkart.com starting July 31.

The Snokor iRocker comes with Bluetooth 5.0 support. It features goose egg-like design and is said to have a slip-proof fit. Each of the earbuds weighs just 4.6 gm and has IPX 4 that makes them lightweight, and sweat and splash-proof. The earbuds come in two modes: single and double. The single-mode lets you quickly switch off one of the earbuds to take calls. Moreover, the buttons feature high-end PU with titanium coating.

The device is said to deliver up to 20 hours of back up. Equipped with 300mAh + 40mAhx2 batteries that offer up to 20 hours of playtime, the earbuds also come with a quick charge feature to replenish the batteries within a few minutes.

It also features a multi-function button control for better navigation. Infinix says the wearable has high fidelity speakers for an immersive audio quality when listening to the music or taking a call.

The multi-function button allows users to control music. For instance, a single tap can play or pause music. Double-tap takes the next song. Similarly, triple tap takes you to the previous song. It also supports Google voice assistant.

Infinix has joined a growing list of smartphone companies that have entered the wireless earbuds segment in India. Most of these wireless earbuds have Apple's AirPods-like design and functionalities, albeit with significant limitations. Some of the notable ultra-low-cost earbuds are Realme Buds and Redmi Buds. Poco is also working on low-cost earbuds called Poco Pop Buds.
