Siri and search has also been upgraded in the new OS to offer seamless searches not only on the device but also ib YouTube. Currently, Apple has 650,000 movies on the Apple TV ecosystem.

Users can also use Apple's new "Live Tune-In" feature that uses Siri to allow users to simply say aloud what channel they want to watch; for example, Cue quickly popped into a soccer game on ESPN 2. That voice search feature also includes searching YouTube as well, so you can watch Steph Curry sink threes all day. Apple TV will also now allow "single sign-on" to cable networks, but the company did not explain exactly how that feature would work. It also has a special dark mode now as well.

The company has also opened the OS for developers to try and integrate more apps in the ecosystem.
