Think the current generation of 7- and 10-inch tablets are too small for your tableting needs? Enter Toshiba's huge Excite 13 tablet -- a massive tablet that sports more screen real estate than any other tablet in the market.

While smaller tablets such as the iPad and Samsung's range of Galaxy Tabs are designed to be uber portable, Toshiba says that the Excite 13 is best suited to home use.

Despite this, the tablet is still relatively slim at 10.2 mm (the iPad measures 9.4 mm) and manages to fit in Micro USB, Micro HDMI ports and a full-size SD card slot.

Other features include a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of memory, a four-speaker sound system and up to 13 hours of battery life.

Toshiba also introduced two other tablets: the Excite 7.7 and the Excite 10. The Excite 7.7 is Toshiba's first tablet to feature a bright AMOLED Display while the Excite 10 is built as a good all-rounder.

All three tablets run on Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and have a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

The Excite 10 will be available from May 2012 starting from $449.99 for the 16GB model. The Excite 7.7 will be launched at the beginning of June for a starting price of $499.99 for the 16GB version. The 16GB Excite 13 is priced from $649.99 and will be available from the beginning of June.
