Electronics editor for Consumer Reports, Paul Reynolds said that when it comes to apps and other content like music, Apple beats other phones.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with a pen stylus and voice-recognition tool and Apple iPad Mini with long battery life were ranked best among the top 7-to-8-inch-screen tablets and light weight Google Nexux10 for 9-12-inch-screen tablets.

Nikon Coolpix L610 with wide angle zoom feature is graded as the best camera in the market, the report added.
