Chinese handset-maker Gionee is expected to launch its selfie-focused S6s smartphone on Monday at an event in New delhi.
The phone is expected to have a metal body, front-facing flash module to enhance low-light selfie performance. It has hardware capacitive navigation keys, and we can also glean a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
Gionee had previously launched the S6 last year at a price of ₹19,999. The phone sports a 5.5-inch HD Super Amoled display, a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB), 4G LTE connectivity, and a 3150mAh battery.
Last month, the company launched two more devices -- the M6 and M6 Plus smartphones featuring an inbuilt data encryption chip claimed to provide additional security over communications and user content.
