Global tourism comes to 'Civilization V'

A new expansion for pre-eminent empire-building computer game "Civilization V" will include a series premiere for the economic and cultural benefits of tourism.

A new expansion for pre-eminent empire-building computer game 'Civilization V' will include a series premiere for the economic and cultural benefits of tourism.


According to the 'Civilization' formula as expounded in the sim's July add-on 'Brave New World,' dominance over other nations need not be of the military persuasion -- cultivating a rich culture and then encouraging its propagation through tourism will see players winning via a 'Culture Victory.'
