'Goat Simulator' spoofs 'Warcraft' in free expansion

April's cult hit 'Goat Simulator' is ready to parody the return of 'World of Warcraft' with an expansion of its own: the free, fantasy-themed 'Goat MMO Simulator.'
Appetite for Blizzard's subscription-based massively multiplayer 'World of Warcraft' has risen in anticipation of its fifth expansion, 'Warlords of Draenor,' which launched on November 13.
And the developers at Sweden's indie studio Coffee Stain have clearly taken note, with a download of their own.
It won't turn 'Goat Simulator' into a true MMO but instead simulates aspects of the MMO experience.
There'll be quests, no worthwhile narrative, enemy encounters, other characters to interact with and even a Tyrannosaurus rex.
Coffee Stain is just as happy to make jokes at its own expense, with a video trailer presenting the team as 'lazy developers' who merely have to turn on their computers and select a couple of check boxes in order to turn their game into a comprehensive MMO affair.
'Goat MMO Simulator' is to be made available as a download for the Windows, Mac and Linux versions of 'Goat Simulator' via the Steam platform from November 20.
