Google celebrates Charles Perrault’s 388 birthday with doodles
Google has created three pretty doodle features scenes from stories such as Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Mother Goose and Puss in Boots to pay tribute to the writer.
Can you imagine your childhood without fairytales? How dull would it be? No Cinderella's glass slipper and no Sleeping Beauty's spindle, more or less means no childhood at all. All these beautiful stories were given to the mankind by Charles Perrault and Tuesday is his 388th birthday and Google is celebrating it beautifully.

Perrault, an academic from Paris spent most of his life in the court of King Louis XV in the 17th century. He died in 1703.
He laid the foundations for a new literary genre, the fairy tale, with his works derived from pre-existing folk tales.
