But there’s a rival Chromium-based browser that now has a similar game for past time, giving Chrome a competition here as well. Vivaldi, the less popular internet browser is getting a game called Vivaldia. What is Vivaldia? Although its Vivaldi’s inbuilt game, it is on the same idea on which Google Chrome’s Dinaosaur game is based – endless runner style. As the company explains, this is a “a real 80s arcade-style game” that you can play on any platform – Windows, Mac and Linux. However, in this you play as a person who has to cross all the obstacles to score more points. “Set in a world where humans and technology collide, the hero of the game, Vivaldia, fights to overcome evil and claim her city back,” says Vivaldi in a post. “Inspired by the Future Noir and CyberPunk genres, Vivaldia is available both online and offline,” it adds. It is worth adding that unlike Google Chrome’s Dinosaur game, Vivaldia can be access even if you are online. All you need to do is to tap on the icon at the bottom corner while at the home screen to start playing. “Our goal with Vivaldia is not only to give you a great fun game in the browser but to tell our own story – about how Vivaldi is taking the technology behemoths head-on and continues to crusade against the concentration of power that lies in a few global corporations,” stated the firm.
