Here's how you can drive a Hummer or an Audi R8 for free today

Ever wanted to whizz down your street in an Audi R8 or a Hummer? On Wednesday, you can, courtesy Uber.

The taxi-hailing app has tied up with Droom, the Indian online marketplace for buying and selling cars, to bring you these supercars right within the Uber app in New Delhi.

The feature, active just for Wednesday, is called 'Supercars on Demand' and here's what you need to do to access it:

Log in to the Uber app between 1 and 4 pm on July 15 and slide over to UberSUPERCAR, a new option that you will see along with the rest of the taxi buttons. To request a car, tap 'Set Pickup Location.'

If a supercar is available, it will come straight to you. Hop in and make your friends jealous.

In a statement, Karun Arya, Uber's spokesperson for South Asia and India, said: "This is the first time we're bringing #UberSUPERCARS to India, for real. Uber is all about providing amazing and unique experiences to its riders and this is one way of giving them an opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the supercar ride."

Uber pulled a similar stunt with delivering free puppies to people from within the Uber app just a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, all puppies were unavailable at that time -- so don't get your hopes up for the Hummer.
