HMD Global announced new X series, C series, G series smartphones
In addition to launching six new smartphones, the company also launched the Nokia Earbuds Lite today.
HMD Global on Thursday hosted a special event wherein it announced three new smartphone series. The company today announced budget C-series smartphones consisting of the Nokia C10 and the Nokia C20, mid-budget Nokia G10 and the Nokia G20 and premium-budget X-series Nokia X10 and the Nokia X20 smartphones. Apart from launching new smartphones, the company also launched the Nokia Lite Earbuds.
Price and availability
As far as the price and availability are concerned, HMD Global said that the Nokia X20 will be available in select markets globally starting May in Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue colour variants at a starting price of 349 Euros ( ₹30,988 approx.). The Nokia X10 will be available in select markets globally starting June in Forest and Snow colour variants at a starting price of 309 Euros ( ₹27,439 approx.).
Similarly, the Nokia G20 will be available in select markets globally starting May in Night and Glacier colour variants at a starting price of 159 Euros ( ₹14,121 approx.). The Nokia G10 will be available in select markets globally starting late April in Night and Dusk colour variants at a starting price of 139 Euros ( ₹12,344 approx.).
On the other hand, the Nokia C20 will be available in select markets globally starting June in Sand and Dark Blue colour at a starting price of 89 Euros ( ₹7,900 approx.).
while the Nokia C10 will be available in select markets globally soon in Light Purple and Grey colour variants at a starting price of 75 Euros ( ₹6,659 approx.).
Lastly, the Nokia Lite Earbuds will be available in select markets globally starting April 8 in Polar Sea and Charcoal colour variants. They will cost 39 Euros ( ₹3,462 approx.). The company hasn't announced the price and the exact date availability of its smartphones yet. There's no word on when they will arrive in India.
Nokia C10 and C20
Both the Nokia C10 and the Nokia C20 come with a 6.51-inch HD+ display with V-notch, 2D Panda Glass, 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Both the phones come with a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera and they run on Android 11 Go Edition. They are backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
The Nokia C10 is powered by Unisoc SC7331e quad-core system-on-chip that is coupled with up to 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of storage space. It is available in 1GB+16GB, 1GB+32GB and 2GB+16GB memory variants.
The Nokia C20, on the other hand, is powered by the SC9863a octa-core processor that is coupled with up to 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of storage space. It is available in 1GB+16GB and 2GB+32GB variants.
Nokia G10 and G20
Both the phones, that is the Nokia G10 and the Nokia G20 come with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Both the phones run on a 5,050mAh battery and they are powered by Android 11.
The Nokia G10 is powered by the Mediatek G25 SoC that is coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage space. It is available in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants. On the camera front, it comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.
The Nokia G20, on the other hand, is powered by the Mediatek G35 SoC that is coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage space. It is available in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants. On the camera front, it also comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.
Nokia X10 and X20
Both the premium-budget Nokia X10 and the Nokia X20 come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. Both the phones are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 480 5G processor. Both the phones run on Android 11 and they are backed by a 4,470mAh battery.
The Nokia X10 is available in 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 4GB+128GB variants. It comes with a quad-rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. It features ZEISS optics. On the front, it has an 8MP front-facing camera.
The Nokia X20, on the other hand, is available in 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB variants. It comes with a quad-rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. It features ZEISS optics. On the front, it has a 32MP front-facing camera.
Nokia Earbuds Lite
Nokia's newly launched Earbuds Lite come with easy-to-learn touch controls for music, voice assistant and calls. They come with a premium design and they offer up to 36 hours of playback time, which the company says is almost double the industry standard.
