Apple is opening up access to its iWork suite of productivity apps to consumers without an iPhone or a Mac.

Over the past 12 months, Apple has been focusing more and more on what it calls continuity, the ability to seamlessly start doing something on one Apple device and complete the task on another.

By offering access to iWork via non-Apple devices, the company will be able to take this one step further and give non-Apple device owners a taste of what it's like to use Apple's products at the same time.
