HTC One M10 leaked image shows no BoomSound speakers
HTC One M10 leaked images surface online, shows One A9 like design with a larger front camera sensor. No sign of BoomSound speakers
Leaked images of HTC's upcoming flagship handset code-named HTC Perfume have surfaced online. These images come courtesy of credible tipster Evan Blass who has posted an image on his Twitter account (@evleaks).
The handset will presumably be called the HTC One M10 when it launches. Based on the leaked images, it follows the same design aesthetics as that of its predecessor. The biggest noticeable difference in the image is a larger front camera sensor. In addition, one can clearly see that there are no BoomSound speakers, which probably means that the upcoming flagship will be more compact than its predecessor.
In terms of specifications, reports suggest a significant overhaul courtesy of the Snapdragon 820 chipset bundled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with microSD support. It is expected to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company's proprietory Sense UI. The handset is expected to get a 5.1-inch screen and will apparently be the company's first flagship to get a QHD screen. Optics expected on the smartphone include a 12-UltraPixel camera on the back with laser assisted auto-focus.
The company's last year's flagship offering was not considered a major upgrade over the HTC one M8 by many experts and users. Though this year's report indicate the possibility of a major overhaul over its last year's flagship.
