The United Kingdom based Indian photographer has won the grand prize in the iPhone Photography Awards or the IPPA for an image clicked using Apple's iPhone X.

Dimpy Bhalotia, who is the winner of the grand prize and the Photographer of the Year Award, hails from Mumbai. After completing her schooling from Mumbai, she moved to pursue a bachelor's degree in Fashion. She has worked in the fashion and interior's industry for several years with renowned designers in London.

The shot that won the IPPA is called the ‘Flying Boys'. It was shot using the iPhone X in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. “In it, three boys take flight from a wall into the Ganges River, their expressive limbs filling the sky with both tension and exuberance,” the IPPA website says about Bhalotia's shot.

As a part of the grand prize, Bhalotia will get a gold bar, an IPPAWARDS certificate and an undisclosed prize.

The first, second and third spots were bagged by Artyom Baryshau from Belarus for his No Walls, Geli Zhao of China for his shot Untitled and Saif Hussain of Iraq for his shot Sheikh Of Youth. While Baryshau will get a gold bar, Zhao and Hussain will get Platinum bars along with the IPPAWARDS certificates.
