Intex launches limited edition smartphone featuring Mary Kom

Domestic handset maker Intex has launched a limited edition 'Aqua Style Mini' smartphone, priced at 4,990, featuring four-time world champion woman boxer Mary Kom.

Domestic handset maker Intex has launched a limited edition 'Aqua Style Mini' smartphone, priced at 4,990, featuring four-time world champion woman boxer Mary Kom.

To be available exclusively on marketplace major Snapdeal, Intex will launch 5,000 units of the smartphone, featuring an icon of the Olympic bronze medalist, embossed at the back.

Intex has also associated with Viacom18 to be a brand partner, with Intex branding featuring on Kom's biopic, featuring actor Priyanka Chopra.

The film titled 'Mary Kom' has been released on friday.

To further support this message, we are launching the special edition Aqua Style Mini to commemorate Indian sporting legends,' Intex Technologies Director Marketing Keshav Bansal said.

The dual SIM-Aqua Style Mini features a four-inch screen, Android KitKat operating system, 1 GHz dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM, 5MP rear camera and VGA front camera.
