iPhone 13 launch date: Apple’s September 14 ‘California Streaming’ launch event is right around the corner, and customers can expect to see new additions to the company’s iPhone lineup. Here’s what you can expect to see at the Apple iPhone 13 launch event.
iPhone 13 launch date: Finally, it is that time of the year when Apple hosts a launch event to announce its latest additions to its iPhone lineup. This year, Apple is expected to launch new hardware at the “California Streaming” live event. The iPhone 13 launch date is September 14, according to Apple's event invite. This means we might see the iPhone 13 launch along with the Apple Watch Series 7 and the AirPods 3.
So, what is in store for fans? As far as iPhone 13 predictions go, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the upcoming iPhone 13 series could come with the ability to connect to satellites to make calls, when regular network service providers were not within range – however, this might not be available in all countries even if Apple does launch such a feature. Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 is likely to sport a larger battery, as well as faster charging on both the wired and wireless charging front. Previous leaks have suggested that Apple's MagSafe charging could feature more powerful magnets over the iPhone 12 series, which might help on this front.

Other reports about the iPhone 13 series suggest that it could come with a faster chip, improved displays with high refresh rates, and other improvements. However, all of these reports, including the one that states the phones might come with a fingerprint scanner (Touch ID) in addition to Face ID, must be taken with a pinch of salt, as Apple has not divulged any details about the hardware, yet. Users can also expect to see the launch of iOS 15 at the event, which will bring several features to Apple's recent devices, as well as update the older six-year-old iPhone 6s and 6s Plus with their seventh year of updates.
In addition to the iPhone 13 series, customers might also be able to see the Apple Watch Series 7 wearable from the company at the event, but instead of the previously rumoured health features, it is likely to come with a new design, improved chip and better display instead. Similarly, we might also see the launch of the AirPods 3, but leaks of the device so far have been very contradictory, with some showing a silicon ear tip, while others showing a regular AirPods design.
