It's an action-packed scenario for Microsoft's family of Kinect Star Wars fans as they duel, podrace, force-push and ground-stomp their way through the motion controlled game's launch trailer in advance of its April 3 debut (April 4 outside North America).

Absent from the clip is Kinect Star Wars' dance mode, which takes several cues from the Dance Central and Just Dance series, urging players to bop along with funky droids and strutting stormtroopers.

There are in fact over 100 Star Wars and Star Wars-related video game titles released since The Empire Strikes Back made a franchise debut on the venerable Atari 2600 in 1982.
