LG announces new mid-range smartphones

South Korean company LG has revealed details of four smartphones that will be launched at next month's Mobile World Congress.

South Korean company LG has revealed details of four smartphones that will be launched at next month's Mobile World Congress.

The handsets -- Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy -- aim for a balance of style and usability and will be available in both LTE and 3G versions.

The Magna and Spirit both have a curved design. The Magna features a 5-inch in-cell touch display for a slimmer look with a maximum display area and minimum bezels, a

Quad-Core chipset, an 8-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter, plus a 2,540mAh removable battery.

The Spirit features a 4.7-inch in-cell touch display and an 8-megapixel camera.

The Leon offers a 4.5-inch display in a compact body, while the Joy has a 4-inch display.
