LG is launching the much awaited G5 flagship in India along with the Cam Plus module for a price that pits the modular phone against Samsung’s S7 and Apple iPhone 6s series.

The highlight of the G5 is its modular design which gives the phone more capabilities. The company calls these plug-in G5 modules ‘Friends’, which is an eco-system of hardware add-ons that allow users to plug-in accessories such as cameras, battery packs, or even a Virtual Reality (VR) headset.

If you have been waiting for the LG G5, your wait has ended. The company is selling its latest flagship smartphone via Flipkart with the Cam Plus module as a bonus. You can order one for 52,990 right away. The Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6s competitor is expected to start delivering today.

In terms of specifications, the G5 sports a 5.3-inch QHD IPS screen featuring an 'Always-on' display, which gives users quick access to check time, notifications, battery level and more.

The smartphone runs Android Marshmallow and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor bundled with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage expandable upto 200GB via microSD slot.
