A limited-edition version of the Pentax Q7 mirrorless digital camera has been launched by Ricoh, featuring what is being billed as the world's smallest and lightest interchangeable lens system.

Just 1,000 of the Ricoh models will be available worldwide, meaning the item is surely set to become a collector's piece for fans.

Featuring four different lenses -- standard prime, standard zoom, telephoto zoom and wide zoom -- the Pentax Q7 weighs 7 ounces (approximately 200 grams) and is small enough to fit into a pocket.

The limited edition Premium Kit comes with a 1/1.7 inch, back-illuminated CMOS image sensor and high sensitivity shooting up to ISO 12800 to produce sharp images with a creative flair.

The package includes a metal hood, polarizing filter, camera bag and specifically-designed kit box.

The limited edition Pentax Q7 Premium Kit will be available from late April 2014 for a suggested retail price of $1,199.95.
