Mailbox app now compatible with Yahoo! Mail and iCloud

Previously available only for use with Gmail accounts, the third-party mobile email app Mailbox is now also compatible with Yahoo! Mail and iCloud.

The latest update to Mailbox allows Yahoo! Mail and iCloud users to take advantage of its many handy and innovative features. The application makes the most of touchscreen capabilities to improve user experience. Users can archive or delete messages with just one swipe of a finger, organize their archives through an intuitive and user-friendly system, or even defer reading messages after receiving them, by between a few hours or a few months. Mailbox is still available exclusively for iOS, however.

Introduced in February, Mailbox made waves in the mobile app world by claiming that it would revolutionize the way we think about mobile email. The start-up was quickly purchased by Dropbox, the company behind the cloud storage and file sharing service available through Yahoo! Mail among other places.

Mailbox is available for download on the App Store (iOS).
