If you have been following smartphone news these days, then you would know that companies like Samsung and Apple have been creating headlines, be it for exploding batteries or hissing sounds.
Amid all the commotion of buzzing consumer complaints and dissatisfaction, a man in France seems to have gone berserk. He entered an Apple store and destroyed every iPhone along with a solitary MacBook he found inside the store with a 'petanque' ball.
Conspiracy theories have been raging high that the man could have been a Samsung fan or he might have been wronged by Apple in terms of service or guarantee. However, a video of the incident was posted to Twitter by one @Quentin_IOS. Although the video seems to have been taken down (though it can still be viewed on YouTube), @Quentin IOS declined to give his real name but told a correspondent of CNET that the action occurred in Dijon. Reportedly, @Quentin_IOS told the publication that the video was shot by his friend and was shared with him later. It has already been retweeted more than 13,000 times.
@QuentinIOS said he believed the man had asked for a refund, but the store had refused. As per the video, the man is seen shouting: "Ladies and gentlemen, Apple is a company that violated European consumers' rights."
He added, "They refused to reimburse me, I told them 'Give me my money back'. They said no. So you know what's happening? This is happening."
Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on this happening.
