Micromax has launched their Canvas Mega 2 phablet with a 6-inch qHD (960x540) display for ₹7,999.

The phone is aimed at consumers with voracious appetite for video consumption. It runs an outdated Android Lollipop 5.0 on 1.3 quad core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. Adding the 3,000 mAh battery to the mix makes it great for watching videos all day, but not for gaming.

It fails to entice in the photography department with a 8 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera. However, it does manage to look and feel good with an all black and slim body. But if you want a 6-inch screen under ₹10,000, this smartphone isn't that bad an option.
