The update was meant to be rolled out earlier this week but was stalled by the software giant for unknown reasons.

Microsoft said that majority of Xbox One owners who use the 'Instant On' mode will receive the update automatically the next time the console is turned off and the update will install during 'off-peak hours, the Verge reported.

The update is said to let Xbox One owners see everything that has been downloaded and installed, while distinguishing the My Games and My Apps sections for easy management of libraries of games and apps.
