Microsoft's Mimicker Alarm app for Android wakes you up and makes sure you stay up.

At first glance, the app seems like the stock Android alarm app but when it goes off in the morning it also asks you to choose from three different games to get your mind ready for the day in 30 seconds.

The games include taking selfies, pictures of coloured objects and repeating phrases.

Designed simply as a fun and amusing way to wake up, the app is used to showcase the software brand's technical advancements in machine learning with Project Oxford.

The Mimicker Alarm is available in the Google Play store.
