Motorola Edge X30 could nab record in India too: Know how
Motorola Edge X30 could launch in India soon, suggest a BIS certification. Here are all details.
Motorola robbed other bands of the opportunity to launch the first phone with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip this year. And now, it seems that it wants to repeat the same in India as well. Just as iQOO announces bringing the iQOO 9 series to India, leaks have suggested that Motorola could be readying its Edge 30 Pro flagship as well.
Based on a report from 91Mobiles, the Motorola Edge X30 has been spotted on BIS certification and based on previous data, it is expected that Motorola may announce it in late January or early February. The Motorola Edge X30 is currently the most powerful smartphone from the company.
Motorola Edge X30 India launch possible soon
The Motorola Edge X30 launched in early December 2021 in China, just days after Qualcomm unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is currently the most powerful chip an Android smartphone can use this year. So far, the Motorola Edge X30 is joined by the Realme GT 2 Pro and iQOO 9 Pro as the only phones using this chip.
Coming to the Motorola Edge X30, you get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 576Hz, and a FHD+ resolution. The display also has 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR10+ colours, in-display fingerprint, and punch-hole cutout.
Other connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
When it comes to the cameras, the Motorola Edge X30 has a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary OV50A40 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The front camera has a 60MP sensor.
What remains to be seen is whether Motorola brings the Moto G200 that also launched globally as a very high-end Moto G model. This one runs on the Snapdragon 888 chipset, which was the best chip available for Android phones in 2021.
