Smartphone maker Motorola on Monday launched its flagship device -- Moto Turbo -- priced at 41,999 with eCommerce firm Flipkart.

The US-based firm, which was acquired by Chinese tech major Lenovo from Google last year, said the handset has top-of-the-line protection as it is designed with premium ballistic nylon.

Available for pre-order, Moto Turbo is designed with a water-repellent coating to protect from the inside out. It has a 5.2-inch display, 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 21 MP rear camera, 3,900 mAh battery, 3GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage and is powered by Android's latest Lollipop operating system.

Snapdeal partners IndiVillage Homegrown online marketplace Snapdeal on Monday said it has partnered with IndiVillage, which will allow sellers on its platform to outsource their imaging tagging, transcription and content development requirements.

IndiVillage runs a rural BPO where it provides training and employment on data entry, online cataloguing, content management, image tagging among others. Under this partnership, sellers on Snapdeal can cost effectively outsource their imaging tagging, transcription and content development for product descriptions to IndiVillage, creating significant rural employment and skilling opportunities, Snapdeal said in a statement.

IndiVillafe uses the profits it generates to reinvest on holistic community development including skill centres for women, schools etc.

With strength of over 40 people, 70 per cent of them being women, the rural BPO offers both full time and part time employment, it added.
