Motorola slashes Moto G 3rd gen price by 17% to Rs. 9,999

Smartphone maker Motorola slashed the price of the third generation its best-selling handset, Moto G by 16.6% to 9,999.

Smartphone maker Motorola slashed the price of the third generation its best-selling handset, Moto G by 16.6% to 9,999.

The device was launched in July last year at 11,999 (8GB memory with 1GB RAM) and 12,999 (16GB storage with 2GB RAM) in India.

Motorola has also reduced the price of its Moto G Turbo edition by about 14% to 12,499. The device was launched last month priced at 14,499.

The Moto G Turbo is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon chipset, Android Lollipop operating system, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear and 5MP front camera and 2,470mAh battery.

"The Moto G (3rd Gen) is now available starting 9,999 and Moto G Turbo variant is available starting 12,499 exclusively on Flipkart.

"In addition to this, there are exciting exchange offers such as upto 4,000 on Moto G (3rd Gen) and up to 5,000 on Moto G Turbo Edition," Motorola said in a statement.
