Netflix has sent out a survey asking people about different features and content that might be a part of N-Plus.

Netflix is reportedly working on a new service called “N-Plus”. It conducted a survey asking people about different kinds of features and content, according to a report by Protocol. N-Plus is said to be a service where people can learn more about Netflix shows. It will feature additional content that Netflix already makes and offers on YouTube, Instagram and other platforms.

"N-Plus is a future online space where you can learn more about the Netflix shows you love and anything related to them," the Netflix survey said, according to the report. In addition to extra content, N-Plus could also offer features such as building and sharing custom playlists. Netflix could also bring music to the service by listing all the songs from a TV show, and letting users create playlists from it.

Netflix could also use N-Plus to tease upcoming shows. One of the questions in the survey read, "learn about a planned show (pre-production) and influence its development with feedback before filming has finished." It also plans on adding user reviews of TV shows. Content from N-Plus will also appear in Google Search results so users can easily access it to find more details about TV shows.

For now, this is only a survey to understand user feedback, and Netflix doesn’t have anything else to share beyond this. But the idea of introducing a service such as this is quite interesting. It would be the go-to content hub for all Netflix original shows. This could also lead to user engagement, as N-Plus is expected to have social features as well. Netflix regularly tests features so we might just see this one soon.
