The Nexus 4 smartphone, currently one of, if not the best Android handsets money can buy, is finally coming to Brazil. The handset, which boasts the purest and most up-to-date version of Google's operating system, has proven such a hit since its launch in November that Google and its manufacturing partner LG have struggled to meet demand.

The device offers an HD 4.7-inch screen an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with flash, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2 GB of RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage (which can be expanded by a further 32GB via the SD slot). But best of all, the phone runs Android 4.2.2 so that users can experience the cutting edge of what the mobile operating system has to offer -- including Google Now, the contextual search and information service that pushes information to the phone and learns a user's preferences in order to better serve their needs -- and is guaranteed to be the first device to receive the update to version 5.0 (Key Lime Pie). In other words, it is a premium handset that is guaranteed to stay up to date for years to come.

There are still no details as to how much the Nexus 4 will cost when it is launched, but Google has supplemented the handset in other territories to ensure that it competes favorably with the best of the rest and is expected to continue to do so as the device rolls out to more countries.
