Nokia expected to launch first tablet in Q4 2013

Nokia is expected to present a series of new products on Tuesday, October 22, the first day of its annual Nokia World event. According to a number of tech websites, the brand's first tablet, the Nokia 2520 (code-named 'Sirius') is set to be presented at the brand's presentation before hitting the US market later this year.
The latest rumors suggest that the Nokia 2520 is a 10-inch Windows RT tablet with 4G connectivity, positioned as a direct competitor to Microsoft's Surface 2. The device is said to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 6.7MP camera, 32GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM.
It remains to be seen whether Nokia will present a removable keyboard for use with its tablet. Nokia is known for making its smartphones available in several colors, so it seems likely that the tablet will also come in an array of shades (blue, red, yellow), as indicated by a number of unofficial photos circulating on the web.
The Nokia 2520 will reportedly be available in the US from November at just under $500. The new tablet runs the risk of being overshadowed by Apple's iPad, which is also expected to be unveiled on October 22.
In addition to its first tablet, the Finnish manufacturer is likely to introduce a new phablet and a number of models for emerging markets at Nokia World 2013, which takes place this year in Abu Dhabi.
