Nokia has unveiled three mass-market smartphones powered by Symbian, an operating system it says will run alongside the Windows Phone 7 when it is introduced later this year.
The models include what the Finnish company calls the world's smallest touch-screen smartphone and one with an exceptionally bright display.
Wednesday's launch comes five months after the company introduced its first smartphones to run on the updated Symbian software with new icons, enhancements and a faster browser.
Nokia Corp. says the models, with an 'extensive use' of eco-friendly materials, have long battery life and include power saving features.
