Finnish smartphone company Nokia on Monday launched Lumia 1520, its first Windows phablet, in India at a steep price of ₹ 46,999 making it the company's most expensive smartphone in the market.

Lumia 1520 has a six-inch screen and runs on a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, said to be the most powerful in the world. It boasts of a 20MP PureView camera with optical image stabilisation, dual LED flash and Zeiss optics. It also features a front-facing 2MP HD camera.
The phone has a full HD (1080p) display and has 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, supports microSD cards for expandable storage and free cloud storage of 7GB and is powered by 3,400mAh battery with built-in wireless charging functionality.
It also features four microphones for surround-like recording and noise cancellation.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 may work as an alternative to BlackBerry in the business smartphone section with built-in Microsoft Office, business applications like Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Lync, as well as enterprise-level security.
Competing against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 3, HTC One Max and Sony Xperia Z Ultra, the Lumia 1520 will be available in red, black, white and yellow.
Nokia also launched a back cover for the Lumia 1520 at ₹2,999.
