Panasonic India on Monday strengthened its enterprise product portfolio with the launch of two tablets and two hand held computing devices for the Indian enterprise market.

The Japanese tech giant has branded its tablets as 'Toughpad', for their ruggedness and expects to meet the device requirements from defense, logistics, warehousing, FMCG, manufacturing and aviation industries.

The 10.1 Windows 8 Toughpad is priced at 1.75 lakh while the 7 Android Toughpad is priced at 69,000.

"There is a significant demand of rugged tablets from enterprises across India and with today's launch we expect to grab over half the market for such tablets by end of fiscal 2014-15," said Manish Sharma, managing director, Panasonic India.
