It's time to bid adieu to the old version of Twitter, in case you are still glued to it. Almost a year after the launch of new Twitter, the micro-blogging site would kill off its previous version this week.

"If you're currently using Old Twitter, we want to let you know that you'll be upgraded to New Twitter this week," the company announced in a tweet.

After the launch of new version of Twitter, the users had the option to continue using the previous version till now. Though the site has been issuing warning to users that the old version would eventually be put to rest.

The warnings were made more urgent starting from June and the company warned that users will have to permanently switch to the new version.

We would certainly miss the good ol' Twitter. Won't you?
