OnePlus 7T Pro launch highlights: OnePlus 7T Pro, McLaren edition launched
OnePlus just unveiled a new smartphone at its event in London. OnePlus 7T Pro along with the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren launched tonight. The company also globally unveiled the OnePlus 7T which debuted in India last month. OnePlus 7T Pro comes with upgrades under the hood like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 4,085mAh battery and Warp Charge 30T. The smartphone features the same design as OnePlus 7 Pro but in new colour. OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition features the F1 racing team’s design elements. There are papaya orange accents around the smartphone along with software customisation as well. OnePlus 7T Pro and its McLaren edition are priced under ₹60,000, and will be available via open sale from October 12.Here are the highlights from the launch event.
OnePlus 7T Pro: India price
OnePlus 7T Pro is priced at Rs 53,999 in India. The McLaren edition carries a price tag of Rs 58,999. Both phones will be available for all starting October 12.

OnePlus 7T Pro is priced at 699 Pounds, while the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition will cost 799 Pounds.
OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition specs
OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition comes with the same set of specifications as the regular version. Other than the obvious design change, the McLaren edition offers higher 12GB of RAM. Some software customisations include papaya orange colour for ‘Horizon Light' and a dashboard like design. There's also a OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition case.

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition comes with design features like the F1 racing car. The smartphone has the iconic papaya orange accents on the side of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition.

OnePlus unveils the upgraded ‘T' version of OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus 7T Pro features a QHD+ 90Hz display with curved edges, pop-up selfie camera and Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It comes with a 4,085mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T. OnePlus 7T Pro also runs on OxygenOS 10 out-of-the-box.
OnePlus 7T announced
OnePlus first unveils the OnePlus 7T which debuted in India last month. In Europe, OnePlus 7T will be available starting October 17. OnePlus 7T features a notched 90Hz display, triple rear cameras in a new circular module and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor.

OnePlus will be the first smartphone company to ship its phone with Android 10 out-of-the-box. This confirms the new OnePlus 7T Pro will launch with OxygenOS based Android 10 like the OnePlus 7T.
OxygenOS 10 new features
New features on OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10 include new time intervals of 20, 30 and 60 minutes in ‘Zen Mode'. Gallery gets smarter on OxygenOS 10 as it now recognises photos based on people, location and events. OxygenOS brings new customisations like dark mode and new colours for ‘Horizon Light'. OnePlus also announced it is working on instant translation for video calling globally.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei takes the stage to start the launch of OnePlus 7T Pro. Pei starts by talking about OxygenOS which is revealed to be the third top reason users prefer a OnePlus phone.

OnePlus 7T Pro will offer incremental upgrades over the OnePlus 7 Pro. The smartphone is also said to feature a design similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro. Accumulating past leaks and speculations, OnePlus 7T Pro is an upgrade but not necessarily a major one over OnePlus 7 Pro. Those who have already purchased the OnePlus 7 Pro can hang tight to the phone.

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition will undoubtedly cost more than the regular version. According to a fresh leak, the smartphone is said to be priced between Rs 66,470 and Rs 67,200. This would make the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition the most expensive OnePlus phone till date.
OnePlus 7T Pro: India availability details
OnePlus 7T Pro has already been listed on Amazon India ahead of the official launch. The smartphone is expected to go on sale via Amazon India on October 15 according to a recent HDFC Bank listing.

According to leaks, OnePlus 7T Pro will feature a 6.65-inch QHD+ display. The smartphone could be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855+ chipsett, and launch with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It could pack a 4,085mAh battery along with support for 30T Warp Charging.

Continuing its partnership with F1 racing team McLaren, OnePlus is launching a special edition phone this year too. OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition will feature the iconic McLaren design with papaya orange accents. The smartphone could sport a kevlar finish according to its retail box teased by OnePlus.
In terms of specs, OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren could launch with beefed up RAM and battery. A new leak also suggests this special edition of OnePlus 7T Pro could be priced between Rs 66,470 and Rs 67,200.
